The last day of school was last Friday, and I’m just beginning to recuperate. I have little to show in terms of effort expended but am probably on the verge of doing something about that. Of course, I have kept fourteen-month old Alexander just about every day, and that’s a full-time job. We will have him again tonight while his parents do dinner and a movie in Lafayette and all next week while his mother attends a workshop.
In my free time I have puttered on the computer, playing with this and that WordPress template in search of the perfect one. Actually, I just like to tinker. I have to run to work today to sit in on an interview for a new English teacher but plan to have a look at the Rapid Development Toolset for Wordpress Theming when I get a chance.

Hello,
Hope you manage to find something you like.
I’m not in the least bit surprised to learn that you haven’t achieved a great deal over the last week! Firstly, if you’re anything like me, the initial few days after a long haul at school are spent in a kind of daze (I actually do quite a lot of sleeping!)wandering around fiddling with this and that. And secondly, looking after a small person is all consuming time wise. So easy to forget how hard it actually is…..we looked after Dave’s grand daughter for days at a time over Christmas and although it was wonderful, it was also jolly difficult!
I’d intended to get at least half of my reports done this week, but I’ve only managed 4 so far, I keep getting sidetracked. In fact that’s what I’m supposed to be doing right now but I just can’t concentrate that hard for long, arrrgh!
Love the look of that website, have had a quick peek
Love and hugs

Hi Julie, I can see why you haven’t done much since your last day of school, taking care of Alexander must be quite a task! If it were me I would take a good two maybe three weeks to recuperate. Have a nice weekend. *hugs*

Yikes, from one intellectually intensive job to a labour intensive one; you are BRAVE.
But what a cutie…
Enjoy!
